The ING DIRECT Wave & Save Promotion has since wrapped up, but for more information about their Orange Everyday Bank Account, or Internet Banking in general visit the ING DIRECT website.
ING DIRECT was kind enough to provide $1000 to fund my experience, all opinions contained in the post are my own, and not that of ING DIRECT.
Talk about a tough day at work.
Whilst I’ve been spending like nobodies business, I’ve also been Miss Generous Pants, all card waving in the air and, “Oh no, put your wallet away. I insist. It’s on me” before tapping the contactless machine and swanning off like I‘m the kind of woman who summers every year in Provence, and paying for groceries and other non such, are just mere trivialities to my day that don’t require any consideration to my budget what-so-ever.
The frivolous rich woman façade was also easy to pull off with payWave, which meant I didn’t have to enter my pin or sign. A simple tap, and I was flouncing off to the next store.
And the generous folk at ING DIRECT also gave me 5% back on every purchase I made with my PayWave Visa Debit Card under $100. This is part of their special promotion for the first 30,000 customers who sign up for their Orange Everyday account until June 30 2013. Spend AND save. I like it.
Here are some of the things I purchased. Coles Liquor would especially like to thank ING DIRECT Wave & Save for the bottles of wine I purchased.
I just adore flowers, and it was a joy to swan into Coles and return with my arms laden with oriental lilies and fill my house with them. We’re talking my office, lounge room, bedroom, kitchen – anywhere I could find a spot to put a vase. Their divine fragrance is permeating my abode as we speak. Even my boyfriend commented on how nice my bedroom smells, and well, boys aren’t really into that kinda thing normally are they?
The other thing he passed comment on is my new ‘50s summery Betty Draperish polka dot frock from Harris Scarfe. Or was it all just because I had $1000 in my pocket?
I love being creative with wall art and I bought these wooden letters from Typo and set of white glass swallows. Ta-daa, now I have DARLING on my office wall with a row of birdies flying above it.
There’s nothing like a new doona cover to breathe life into a bedroom. I love using white and silver as a colour scheme backdrop, and then injecting colour with cushions. I also picked up a new silver mirror and photo frame to compliment my bedroom’s makeover. And I couldn’t resist the cute canvas G from Typo.
My penchant for homewares is matched by my love of gorgeous stationery. Needless to say I spent hours in Typo decking out my office. I also squealed with delight when I found some striped aqua and pink striped paper straws. Perfect for the ‘60s pool-party inspired outdoor dinner party I’m planning.
